The new Swiss Heritage Guide to Burgdorf Castle, published in October 2023, takes you on a journey of discovery through this architectural monument of national importance. With numerous illustrations, it gives readers an understanding of the history and building history of Burgdorf Castle. The three authors Jürg Schweizer, Armand Baeriswyl and Daniel Furter provide insights into important details and new findings about the architecture and use of the best-preserved Zähringer complex.
The art guide is published by the Society for Swiss Art History in German and French and is available at the museum box office for CHF 14 or can be ordered online in the GSK shop.
