Feasting at Burgdorf Castle

A unique atmosphere
The public restaurant seats around 60 people and is designed as a place for visitors to the castle and local Burgdorf residents alike to meet and relax. The restaurant serves freshly prepared food at lunchtime and in the evening.

In the evening, you can take your place at the large oak table in the historic granary building (Kornhaus), which serves local specialities from a grill in the middle of the restaurant.

In summer, you can eat outside under the big linden tree in the castle courtyard with views over the Emmental valley. You can also enjoy a refreshing glass of local Burgdorf beer straight from the tap.

Our extensive menu includes selected specialities, a range of vegetarian and vegan options and children’s dishes.
